The USAF was looking into this heavy lift turbo prop in the early 1960's sort of a heavy lift version of the C-130.??? And wasn.t the Euro's going to

So you have a over sized C-130 for the EHT If you think about it, then just replace the 4 engines on a C-17 or get some C-1s and done the same

Randy, I have some C-130's from the Kay-Bee toy stores manufactured by the same company that does the 1/500 scale AWACS.....So, sizewise(scalewise) they
would work as the C-132 in my scale of stuff...And the Matchbox Turboprop transport that they make could be used as the A400 (heavy
transport)......again sizewise with my other aircraft.......Tell me have you looked at that C-130 as maybe 1/400 scale for you.??? Thanks, MArk (SCE)

As for the c-130s in !/400, well I have close to 50 of them now. In the last couple of weeks. I had 2 C-17s and a AN-124 come in

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shorts_Belfast Huh, it had less cargo capacity than the An-22. But still it could carry 150 troops, a Chieftan, or 2 Wessex helicopters, so impressive nonetheless. On another note, found a guy at a local flea market who selling a whole bunch of Herpa Wings planes. Nothing military but he said he'd look to see if he had any over the week. Regardless I still picked up a 1/600 DC-10 and a 1/400 MD-11. Both in airliner livery, the DC-10 is American and the MD-11 is Saudi Airlines Cargo. |
